Google’s Gmail is one of the most widely subscribed Email services all over the world. It’s a free service for up to 10 Giga bytes of storage space and it’s chargeable beyond that. When you consume the free storage space for your account you would not receive or wouldn’t be able to send any emails and a message stating that the storage is full is displayed at the top of the screen. You can either delete the unwanted emails to free up the space or buy additional storage space for the account. The Gmail server being a machine however encounters some technical issue sometimes due to which users are not able to operate their account very well. But how do we know that the server is down and that is why the Email is not responding the way it should? There are other issues as well which are due to some technical errors at the user’s end which could be rectified performing some rectification steps on the device in which the Email account is being used.

Some Common problems with Gmail account:
These issues are not just with Gmail email accounts, one can encounter these kind of problems with any Email account. There are some activities that should be performed on the device at least once a week in order to get the Email account working fluently. Occasionally it has been noticed that a user is not able to sign into the account and there could be various reasons behind. May be it’s the server or may be you are not using the correct credentials or may be even if you are using the correct credentials it’s not letting you in.
Note: To identify whether the problem is with the Gmail Server itself or is it at your end, all you have to do is go to any real time server report provider such as Down Reporter and check the status of the server. That should let you know about the current status of the Server.
If this issue is due to some error at the user’s end then perform the following steps on the device:
. Reset the password for the account.
. Clean the browser that you are using to access your email account.
.Reboot the device and try opening your account. This should resolve the problem.
Sometimes you might notice that the emails that you are not able to send or receive emails. This problem usually occurs if the storage space is full or there could be any server issue. If it has something to do with the server then there is nothing a user can do except for waiting for the server to be resolved. However if you get any message at the top of your email account page saying that the storage is full, just free up the space on the account by deleting the unwanted emails from the account. Also make sure to empty the Trash in order to free up the space. Once the storage space on the account becomes available you should start getting your pending emails and also you can send emails.
Sometimes the browser that you are using does not load up the Gmail sign in page. This usually happens if the browser is not cleaned for a long time or if the internet connection is not responding well. To resolve this follow the steps below:
. Clean the browser. Go to the settings and refresh or reset the browser in order to remove the history, caches, cookies or any unwanted Extensions from the browser.
. Reboot the router and the modem and also the computer.
Sometimes you might see a message on your screen saying that it cannot connect you to the server. This usually happens if the network is not connected or the browser is not able to load the page due to caches and cookies. Reset the browser and reboot the system and that should resolve the problem.
Always make sure that a working phone number and an alternate email address is connected to your account. If you haven’t done it just go to your info in the account settings and add that up. Having these connected with the account makes your account secure and even if you forget the password, it can be recovered very easily.
